Chapter’s young apprentice George Ng from UCB has won two gold medals in the ‘International Salon Culinaire’ this week , the UK’s largest and most prestigious programme of culinary competitions.
‘The competitions have been a platform for chefs of all levels from the talented young chefs training at college, to those who are well established and firmly on their culinary career journey. Salon Culinaire offers the industry a platform to highlight the fantastic and exciting gastronomic skills that the hospitality industry has to offer.’
Royal Academy of Culinary Arts Apprentice George Ng took part in the ‘Skills Theatre’ competition and was awarded two gold medals , one for ‘Butcher a whole Chicken for Saute’ and the other for ‘Prepare a Best End of Lamb’.
We are incredibly proud of George who works full time for Chapter while attending UCB 6 hours per week.
